Without prejudice to access to the internal channels mentioned above, communications may be directed to the external channel, through the relevant procedures before the Independent Whistleblower Protection Authority (A.I.P.I.) or the Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia.
The purpose of processing personal data in the Internal Information System is to manage the reporting of irregular conduct through this channel when the Whistleblower has reported suspected irregular conduct, illegal acts, or regulatory breaches. Personal data will not be used for any purpose other than that indicated. Whistleblowers shall be entitled to the protection measures established by Law 2/2023, unless the communications have been rejected. Communications submitted will be subject to an admissibility analysis within 10 business days of their registration.
Acts of retaliation, including threats and attempts at retaliation, against those who submit a communication in accordance with Law 2/2023 are prohibited. Any unlawful act or omission that, directly or indirectly, involves unfavorable treatment that places the Whistleblower at a disadvantage in the workplace or professional sphere, due to the fact of reporting or making a public disclosure, shall be considered retaliation.
